Privacy Policy

This page is a small static website. The short version: I collect almost nothing, and what little does get collected is operational — keeping the site online and answering email. The longer version is below, written so a normal human can read it.
Who runs this site
The operator (“I”, “we”) is an independent engineer based in the MENA region, reachable at hello@alabsi.online. The site lives at alabsi.online and is hosted on Cloudflare Pages.
What this site collects
The site itself does not run analytics, advertising scripts, third-party trackers, fingerprinting, or session recording. There are no cookies set by this site. No account, sign-up, or login exists.
Two technical exceptions, both standard for any website on the public internet:
- Cloudflare serves the site and, like any CDN, sees the requests that reach it. Cloudflare logs basic request metadata (IP address, user agent, referrer, timestamp) for security, abuse prevention, and performance. This data is governed by Cloudflare’s own privacy notice (cloudflare.com/privacypolicy).

Google Fonts is loaded from
fonts.googleapis.com. Google may log the request. If you prefer not to share that, a privacy-focused browser or a content blocker will refuse the font and the page still works.
What happens when you email me
If you email hello@alabsi.online, the message and any attachments you choose to send are received and stored by my email provider so I can read and reply. I keep correspondence as long as it’s useful for the project we discussed, and delete or archive older threads when they stop being relevant.
I do not enrich, sell, share, or feed your email content into ad networks, marketing lists, or third-party AI training. If we end up working together, any client material is covered by whatever NDA or engagement agreement we sign.
Children
This site is aimed at adult professional clients. It is not intended for children under 16, and I do not knowingly collect information from them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (GDPR in the EU/UK, similar regimes elsewhere), you may have the right to ask what personal data I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to its processing. Since the only personal data I’m likely to hold is an email thread you started, the practical request is usually “delete our correspondence.” Email me and I will.
Security
The site is served only over HTTPS. Email is handled by a mainstream provider with standard transport encryption. No system is perfectly secure, but I take reasonable care, and there is no database of users on this site to breach.
Changes to this policy
If this policy meaningfully changes — for example, if I add a contact form, analytics, or any new third-party — I’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, for material changes, note them on the homepage for a few weeks.
